The Redzep Pasha Mosque was built in 1588 in honor of the general Redzep Pasha who participated in the siege of Rhodes in 1522, by Suleiman the Magnificent. The mausoleum, which is the subject of the restoration study, is part of the mosque complex and part of the project of conservation, restoration and promotion of the Redzep Pasha Mosque.
