The year 2025 is the milestone for the restoration works of the historical core of Tatoi, because in at the end of which the basic museum infrastructures were completed and given to the public. The restoration, promotion and operation of the land is a symbolic project in the context of the general development planning of the government and the Ministry of Culture”.

Work is progressing smoothly on its restoration projects palace, the construction of its infrastructure networks and the configuration of its surrounding area. At the same time, museological studies have been completed and museographic studies are progressing. The progress of the works on the Palace is also followed by the works for the restoration of the Gardens, where a contractor has just been installed, with a completion date of the end of 2025. The Minister of Culture gave instructions to immediately prepare the restoration studies of the greenhouse and the adjacent tennis court, so that it will be ready by the end of next year.

The timetable for completing the restoration project of his building is the same Neo Voustasiou. One wing of it is meant for Museum of cars-monument of the royal family, while the other is a museum dedicated to the agricultural production of the land. The relevant museological studies have been completed. At the same time, the floor of Neos Voustasiou has been transformed into a conference and event space.

After the restoration of Old Voustasi, the Royal Carriage Museum will be housed there. Important technical issues that arose during the implementation of the project forced the extension of the period of the works, which, however, are now progressing smoothly. And the museological and museographic study of Paleo Voustasio has been completed. Restoration works on the buildings of the “Parking” complex have been completed and are expected to be handed over for use next fall. Visitable maintenance laboratories will be located in specific buildings, so that the visitor can follow the process of restoring objects from the collections of the land. One of them will be given to the Scouts, who are currently in Katsimidi, and the second will place a Fire Station, which is absolutely necessary to exist in Tatoi.

Next fall, the finished buildings of the Sturm House, the Carer’s House, the Archikipourou House and the Telecommunications will be handed over for cultural use. The Kitchen building is complete, which from the beginning of 2026, will house the ticket office of the palaces, the cloakroom, the refreshment room and the office of the people in charge of the Palace museum. Until then, it will temporarily host an exhibition, with all the studies and projects carried out in the historical core of the Tatoi estate, next to the Forester’s House, which is already functioning as an Information Center.

For the three buildings, the Shelter, which will act as an Estate Administration Office, the Pigsty, which will serve as a Souvenir Shop, and the Seasonal Workers Building, which will act as a Small-Scale Training and Cooperation Area with Universities, their restoration Studies have been completed and their inclusion in a financial program is expected.

Finally, the maintenance and restoration of the mobile objects of the royal family continues, as well as the process of recording, documenting, digitizing and maintaining the Tatoi collections.
