A Memorandum of Cooperation for the promotion of Greece was signed by its secretary general EOT Dimitris Fragakis, with his Vice President of Public Policy Netflix for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, Madeleine de Cock Buning.
The agreement opens new perspectives for joint actions, with the aim of promoting the natural beauty and cultural wealth of Greece throughout the world.
Through the Memorandum of Cooperation, Netflix is ​​committed to supporting the Greek tourism industry by using the global popularity of its content to show the sights of Greece around the world.
The mutual cooperation between Netflix and EOT includes the creation of a Netflix video for use by EOT for promotional activities, while at the same time EOT is given the possibility to use Netflix material for production of new material.
In the framework of the signing, the two sides discussed the possibility of future collaboration, recognizing that the strengthening of the audiovisual sector and the promotion of the country through it is a national goal.
