Italy: Government charters Marios Iliopoulos’ “Mykonos Magic”.

The cruise ship Costa Magica, which is part of his fleet Mario Iliopouloswill sail to the port of Brindisi from June 9, serving as a floating hotel for the police who will participate during the G7 that will take place in the region of Apulia.

“The ship Mykonos Magic, which is the former Costa Magica, was chartered directly by the Ministry of the Interior to a company belonging to the Seajets group. Police forces will be hosted on board for the entire period of G7.

About two months ago, representatives of the Ministry and Police examined the ship with another cruise unit, but in the end they chose the bigger one.

The ship will arrive in Brindisi early in the morning of June 9 and will remain there until the afternoon of June 17 at the end of all operations related to the G7.

Each cabin holds a maximum of two passengers. three daily meals will be provided, again at the shipowner’s expense, for about 2,600 people per day.’
