The Ministry of Culture is organizing on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 7:30 pm, at the Piraeus Municipal Theater the Awarding Ceremony of the State Literary Awards for the years 2022 and 2023 and on National Playwriting Awards 2022.
The State Awards is an important institution for Greek literature and theater, which recognizes and honors writers who, with their work, have contributed to our cultural heritage and the promotion of literature and theater in our country and in outside the country.
During the ceremony, awards will be given in the following categories:
STATE LITERARY AWARDS 2022
- the Grand Prize in Letters 2022 awarded to Maria Laina for her general contribution to Letters.

C. State Award for Young Playwrights “Chrysa Spiliotis”
the State Prize for Young Playwrights “Chrysa Spiliotis” for the year 2022, awarded unanimously in the game “Salty Letters” HIM Maria Psarologouwhich was submitted to the competition under the pseudonym “Self Demons”.

The event at the Piraeus Municipal Theater will be presented by Ms. Stella Papadopoulou-journalist and Daisy Sebekopoulou-actress, while the acclaimed Kalliopi Vetta accompanied by George Papachristoudis on the piano will perform the songs of Greek composers.
