Actor, director and writer Andreas Marianos breathed his last after health problems that plagued him in recent years.
The bad news was announced by the former president of the Greek Actors’ Association, Spyros Bibilas through his personal Facebook profile. The funeral of Andreas Marianos will take place on Saturday, June 29 at Zografou Cemetery.

In detail, Spyros Bibilas wrote: “Unfortunately Andreas Marianos is no longer here… Farewell Andreas… dear friend and colleague… Philosopher researcher of life and art… You left tormented by many problem but you love our art and serve it selflessly. We will say goodbye to you on Saturday at 12.30 from the Zografou cemetery”.
Andreas Marianos is known to the public for his roles in the Greek film “Hardcore” by director Deni Iliadis, in the Netflix original film “Beckett” starring with John David Washington, while he also made a guest appearance in international film. “Invisible World” by Manuel de Coco. On the small screen, he made two guest appearances in the series “Men and Den” on ANT1. He got married in the 1990s.
