A total of 535,684 applications were submitted for 899,892 program checks social tourism HIM double.
The program will start on July 1, 2024 and will involve 300,000 checks, with a budget of 50 million euros, increased by 43% from last year, while in general, the budget of the program has quadrupled from the previous one 5 years.
The selection of beneficiaries is based on scoring specific criteria (disabled, single parent, number of children, income, first time participation in the program) in an objective and transparent manner through the Integrated Information System ( ISIS) of DYPA.
Also, for the disabled, the possibility of participation is given every year, the right to an escort and zero private participation in ferry tickets, while no penalty will be imposed on them if they do not use their checks.
Employees and unemployed people subsidized by the social tourism program of another organization during the same period and those (except for the disabled) who received a check in the program in 2023-24 cannot participate in the program.
The providers of the program are tourist accommodation and ferry companies.

Starting this year, providers from last year will automatically be included in the Register of Providers, as long as they update their participation documents.
