For me it was an inspiration before I saw the series. When I saw him afterwards, I saw his face, he was dealing with serious issues for our society.

He then explained why he chose a remote place for graffiti.

“I chose it because, I don’t know if you remember, last year I made a mural of the director Theodoros Angelopoulos erasing AUTH, so I wanted to protect it, in a hidden place” he discussed and finally, he answered the question, why he chose Maria Kavoianni as a symbol of abused women.

“I was touched by the talent of this woman, her appearance above all else. I think the whole society is affected by violence against women and femicide. Her desperation and the way she expresses it express us as a whole” commented.
