THE Ilias Karellasafter a sold-out show “Shadows of the Pentagram” which he initiated, this winter, in Megaros, this summer will also go to the Garden with a new production.
The beloved shadow performer invites young viewers to travel with him to the magical world of Greek mythology with “The Argonautic Expedition”, his new play presented in open-air shadow theater at the Athens Concert Hall on June 18, 19, 26 and 27 as well as July 2 and 3 (start time: 8:30 pm).
The legendary ship of the Argonauts, the I’m late, set sail from the Palace Garden for mythical adventures. Karagiozis, together with Iason, will meet the subversive singer Giortzia Kefala in the role of Medea to travel together to distant Colchis, with the melodic company of the seven-member wind band Hasta Brassta.
A summer shadow adventure with giant numbers and lots of music that emphasizes the importance of cooperation and the human need for purpose, while reminding us that even a difficult challenge can be met with humor like Karagiozis !
