On Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 7:30 p.m., the Awarding Ceremony of the first Lord Byron Prize for the year 2024, organized by the Society for Hellenism and Philhellenism and the Academy of Athens, will be broadcast live from at the Athens Academy Hall.
The first prize was awarded this year to Lord Lytton, a member of the House of Lords and a direct descendant of Lord Byron through his daughter Ada Byron Lovelace.

Afterwards, the opening of the Exhibition, organized by the Academy of Athens and Museum of Philhellenism, titled “Lord Byron and the Philhellenic Aura” will take place.
