After selling tickets for four performances, the National Opera announces an additional 5th performance for Tosca in Herodio on Tuesday 4 June 2024 at 21.00. Puccini’s most famous masterpiece is presented, as part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, under the musical direction of Loukas Karytinos, direction, set, costumes by Hugo de Ana and a revival directed by Katerina Pesatodis.
Today, the final schedule of Tosca performances is as follows: June 1, 2, 4, 6, 11, 2024.
The pre-sale of tickets for the additional show on June 4th starts tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29 at 10:00 am and will be held by ΕΛS Funds at SNFCC (2130885700, daily 9:00-21:00), at Athens Epidaurus Festival publishing houses and online at more.com.
In the additional performance on June 4th, the leading role will be performed by the top tenor of ELS Tselia Costea, Mario Cavaradossi by the famous American tenor Carl Tanner and Baron Scarpia by the top Greek baritone Tassis Christogiannopoulos. Tasos Apostolou played the role of Cesare Angelotti, Petros Magoulas played Neokoros, Vangelis Maniatis played Sarrone and the Bailiff, Yiannis Kalivas played Spoletta and Evita Chioti played the Shepherd.
The ELS Choir directed by Agathangelos Georgakatos and the ELS Children’s Choir directed by Konstantina Pitsiakou.
