EMST organizes a “food, wine and art” experience

The National Museum of Contemporary Art (NMCA) participates this year in the spring festival This Is – Athens City Festival of the Municipality of Athens with a haute cuisine event organized by Wine Style at NYN ESTI, an innovative restaurant located at the top of NMCA floor.

A 6-course menu with the theme of meat (Fauna) and the signature of Chef Stamatis Misomike. A combination of flavors based on Greek cooking tradition using modern techniques and sustainable practices.

Each dish is accompanied by a different wine from the premium series of the Kyr-Yiannis Estate, from the wineries of Naoussa and Amyntaio, which will be presented by the manager of the Estate, Nasos Tsitlika

It will be preceded by a tour at 19:00 for the participants, by the EMST curators of the most important works of the exhibition series entitled: “What if women ruled the world?”

HABITAT MENU

1. Smoked bone marrow with garlic and feta cheese combined with Scaperdas Freres, Blanc de Noir NV, Kyr-Yiannis, Xinomavro (Methode Traditionnelle);

2. Long-matured veal tartare in XO brandy and wild mushrooms accompanied by Agatoto 2022 Rosé, Kyr-Yiannis Xinomavro (PGE Macedonia)

3. Cuttlefish rice with fennel, walnuts and cream with Drumo 2023, Kyr-Yiannis, Sauvignon Blanc (PGE Florina)

4. Rabbit with cloves and chard, carob and figs with Ramnista 2019, Kyr-Yiannis, Xinomavro (PDO Naoussa)

5. Lamb with the smell of seafood, zucchini and cucumber with Diaporos 2019, Kyr-Yiannis, Syrah & Xinomavro (PGE Imathia)

6. Spring flowers with yogurt, cherry and warm Petimezi with Chrysogerakas 2021, Kyr-Yiannis, Gewürztraminer & Malagouzia (PGE Macedonia)
