New flights from Athens to USA

United Airlines has announced the expansion of its seasonal flights with daily direct connections from Athens to the USA for the summer of 2025.

The airline increased its weekly flights to New York/Newark Airport from 7 to 10 (subject to relevant government approval) and also continued flights to New York/Newark and Chicago O’ Hare hubs three weeks earlier.

Just one year after launching its route from Athens Airport to Chicago O’Hare Airport in May 2024, United will also begin using a state-of-the-art Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on this route, which offers more than 30% more seats in comparison. of the Boeing 787-8 that previously served this route.

With United’s third daily seasonal nonstop service between Athens and Washington, the airline’s total seats offered on flights from Greece to the US will increase by nearly 30% for the summer 2025.

The expansion of seasonal flights from Athens is part of United’s largest international expansion in its history, with the addition of 11 new flights and eight new destinations for the airline’s customers next season. hot

Beginning in May 2025, United will launch five new flights from its hub at New York / Newark Airport to destinations not served by any other US airline, including Bilbao in Spain, Palermo in Italy, Nuuk in Greenland and Madeira and Faro in Portugal.

The airline also added three new routes from Washington/Dulles to its service, including its first year-round service to Dakar, Senegal, and new seasonal flights to Nice and Venice.

United also added new flights from Tokyo-Narita Airport to Kaohsiung in Taiwan, Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia and Koror in Palau – destinations not served by any US airline. These new flights will connect seamlessly with United’s trans-Pacific services from Tokyo/Narita Airport to five hubs in the continental United States.
