Alonaki is spelled in Preveza Prefecture. It is a natural base near the community of Valanidorrahi and is located in the middle of the distance between Preveza and Igoumenitsa.
The main part of the beach apart from the forest that surrounds it is the adjacent high rock. It was used as a landing point for Allied troops at the end of World War II.
Today you can still see the concrete layers of the coast that prove the important geopolitical position of the coast of the Ionian Sea. This is a protected area where all human intervention, including camping, is prohibited. It is also characterized by the extraordinary purity of the water and the abundance of vegetation, mostly trees and bushes.
