A new upload of Imaginary Patient by Emilio Chilakis and Manolis Dounias

with him explosive comedy on Moliere “The Imaginary Patient” met again the public in open theaters or Emilios Cheilakis, management and adaptation work with Manolis Dounias. We remember what happened in the project: A hypochondriac and sickophobic aristocrat, Argan, who lives a comfortable life, torments those around him with his oddities and whims.

He was convinced that his problem was his poor health. The doctors he often calls to find a cure for him, some of them are charlatans, try all the medicines on him, while at the same time extorting him from large sums of money as compensation. argan, realized that he was being taken advantage of, decided to marry his daughter, Angeliki, to a doctor in order to get free medical care.

When Angeliki reacts because he loves Kleanthi, Argan, at the urging of his second wife Belina, informs her that he will lock her in a monastery. Fortunately, his servant Tuaneta and his brother Veraldos intervened and convinced him to pretend to be dead so that to find out who who took advantage of him he really cares about her.

But is Argan really a patient? And if so, is he suffering from a disease that can be treated with medicine? Or is he an insecure, fearful person who, despite everything, uses his poor health as an excuse to arouse the interest of those around him?

and Is Moliere’s Argan like the modern man who is not satisfied with anything, while perhaps his deepest and most important need is to be loved?
